What is the difference between the two radios?
Which one has a green display color option?

I have a 6111 in my 575 and I am trying to figure out how to make the display colors best match my 575 green interior lights.

It appears there are green display versions as well? Still can’t figure out how to reliably ID a green display / Ferrari start up version though

It appears (further confirmation still needed!) 6111 was used mostly on 599s and 6112 was found on very late 430s: I have insufficient data to comment about 612s. That said, I am still not sure about the actual difference between the two radios. Both accept the same system disks and both can be updated to v4.0 (US or Euro)

As for color, while the 6112 has various green display screen modes, as far as I could tell you cannot actually change the button color from white.

Next - previous posts suggest both US spec v4.0 at v3.7 Nav card can be replicated using a 4 gigabyte card in the proper formatting. A clone card will fix the dreaded language bug that occasionally occurs that causes the radio to switch to a different default language (German).

Any word with tips/guidance on where I could get the software to clone ? any help is appreciated as I’m just trying to get the radio to properly work….

Cards have become essentially vaporware with neither Ferrari or Becker/Navteq having any left.

Update to this thread I now have each and I still can't tell the difference, heh. The software is identical as I use the same v4 US software system disk for both.

Welcome correction from someone who knows.
