Saturday should be very interesting to say the least! Cold & wet weekend expected for Spa Thursday 4th September 2008 - PlanetF1.com A cold and wet weekend has been forecast for the 2008 Belgian GP, which takes place at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Heavy rain is expected throughout Friday's running with a high of 17'C and a low of 14'C. The conditions won't improve for Saturday's final practice and qualifying with heavy rainfall once again forecast with the day's maximum temperature reaching 18'C. Sunday, though, should see the rain lift although overcast skies are expected. However, it will be the coldest day of the race weekend with a maximum of just 14'C. The wet weather poses a rather unique challenge at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit as given it's 7km length rain can often fall at one part of the circuit but not the other.
