Since I live in the Pacific Northwest, my cars get wet from time to time. Anyone else drive their 348/355 in the rain?

I am surprised at how well the 355 does, actually - better than the Z06.

348....I don't drive in the rain. Not that I'm afraid to. Mainly, not much rain in SoCal. Also I don't want to clean up after.....

    Scott,
Yes, I drive in the rain. Not as much the past two or three years, but used to a LOT say from 2000 to 2006. I've had the 355 the past 6 years and it is terrific in the rain. It was fine with the oem Pirellis, but really sticks with the Goodyear F1 GSD3's I put on a few years ago.

The F355 is a lot of fun to drive on wet tracks with PZero Corsa ;)

I do not, but like Lou not because I am paranoid it will melt, rather because I like to enjoy the drive with the top off. Driving in the rain is for my DD, and I don't envision enjoyment in driving a Ferrari in the rain.

To the guys in the Pacific Northwest - you don't really have a choice, if you didn't want to drive in the rain then you would never get to drive them. When I was closing the deal on my 348 in Portland Oregon, they said to me "Here on a daily basis there is always a chance of precipitation"

Just went to a local event last weekend and it rained heavy for 4 hours on my 348. Don't let anyone tell you that they have a problem in the rain!

The only problem driving in the rain is eventually your pop up lights will stop working, water gets in and corodes the electric connection to the hydraulic system

If it is pouring rain, I wont go out of my way to drive in it, but if there is a chance if sun, I will roll the dice :)

The car is actually well-mannered and civil on wet pavement. My Z06 has tires that hate water and ridiculous torque at any RPM. No fun, and somewhat dangerous.

That's the reality. In the summer/fall it is pretty dry, but the rest of the year is dicey. I will get my toys wet for the chance to play with them. None have melted yet!

Would this picture then send shivers down anyone's spine? This was a recent club photoshoot and it poured! Good thing my 355 was home as I do not enjoy the trickles coming in from my wing mirrors.

A 308 later developed a "half asleep" look even with the lights turned off. Don't know if the rain had anything to do with it.

Mine has never been driven in the rain. I don't want to be the one who changes that.

I drove from Tx to WV last year and spent 2 days in 2.5 inches per hour rain. No issues.

I have driven my F355 in the rain at TWS and MSR Boney. No issues.

Driven the 355 in rain and snow - no issues apart from sometimes some water came in top of the window, the seals are not the best
London has a lot of rain and I used to the car to commute to work

If rain is in the forecast I keep it in the garage. I just like to keep it very very clean so I don't enjoy the extra clean up time.

I have been stuck in the rain unexpectedly and the car drives very well. One thing I noticed is at speed I don't even need the wipers. Not sure if it's the angle or quality of the glass but it beads up the rain really nice.

Ferraris aren't meant to be driven in the rain are they ? Surely not.

I got caught in a violent thunderstorm when I first bought my 348. The sky was as black as spades with thunder and lightening. I was waiting on the hail to come and ruin my bodywork.

That's the last time my car has seen rain.
