I think it depends on if it rains through practice, qualifying, and the race.
I think if it rains it will open the posibilities of at least one driver scoring his first point

If it rains then I will be VERY excited to see how this goes. Guys like Rubens who are quick in the wet, might have an opportunity to score their first points of the season.

Maybe Jense or Ruebens will get lucky. I have a feeling though that either Kimi or Alonso will take this one.

You have a good point about Jenson and Rubens being fast in the rain. Problem is, that Alonso and Kimi both are true rain masters AND in the faster cars.

What I don't know (yet) is how good Hami is in the rain. But based on what I've seen from him so far, I'm sure he got that one down to a T as well.

If it rains then we are done for the weekend.
Neither Massa or Kimi can drive a car in rain without mechanichal grip

What are the rules for changing the setup of a car between qualifying and the race? What if the weather changes between qualifying and race? Are you stuck with the setup you choose during qualifying?

I heard that some, if not most, of the grip issue has been addressed for this race.

Or as I call it: NEVER!

And I get my wish starting 08. NEVER again this boring track in the middle of nowhere.

There is talk about a new track for the French GP just outside of Paris. That'd be cool. My suggestion however would be to bring it back to Le Mans.

Yes and I don't get it why they haven't been doing this earlier: Le Mans would be perfect, has several track configurations to choose from, lots of history, fantastic grand stands and infrastructure and isn't in the friggin middle of nowhere.

Time to let go of the Mitterand legacy.
