F1 looks set for a third consecutive Grand Prix that is affected by rain.

After the Fuji washout and the wet-dry Chinese Grand Prix two weeks ago, forecasters are now predicting a weekend of potentially changeable weather in Sao Paulo; scene of Sunday's 2007 title showdown at the Interlagos circuit.

Rain has been ever-present in the Brazilian city all week, but weekend forecasts predict that the weather should by Sunday be in the process of clearing up.

Williams' debutant racer Kazuki Nakajima, however, said in an official team preview on Monday: "It looks like it's going to rain over the weekend.
    "

The British team's technical director Sam Michael added that the weather forecast "is currently predicting rain all weekend" for Brazil.

...I hope it rains, so we can have a wider chance to wipe out both McLiaren Drivers...Prediction is getting a lot closer to rain in the upcoming days...and that tropical venue has no idea what a drizzle is...only downpours!!!!

His driving isn't the issue in the rain, its his level or lack of skill in the rain.

+100 considering how good most Brasilians are in the Rain (newest Motorsport Magazine about RB and Senna in the Rain).

I remember reading about Ayrton how he was scared of the rain when he was starting Kart. His first race in the rain was a disaster so after that he made a point to go test/practice every rainy day ..

In todays grid , we dont have any rainmaster anymore . Which is a shame because its an almost guaranteed win .

actually, i'm quite surprised. Rubens is damn good in the rain. so was Senna. but Massa is improving. he had a great drive in the Nurburgring in tricky conditions, till the tyre problems.

Interlagos doesn't have the forgiving run off areas as Fuji and Shanghai did.

Rain is not just the great performance equalizer, but also separates the boys from the men. The best are better and the mediocre worse.

Button is very good in the wet.

A wet race favors Alonso. This is not good news for Hamilton.

I'm not so sure about that. LH has shown himself to be pretty good in the wet so I don't think there will be much between them - although another car between them might help prevent any 'accidents'. ;)

At Nuerburgring he showed that he has improved since last year at Hungaroring. Improved as in not getting lapped anymore, but still not great by giving up a victory.

He had great moments in Fuji and very bad ones (as did Kimi): They both sailed off the track. I didn't count, but I believe Massa sailed off more, but it doesn't matter: One off in Interlagos and your race is finished.

You're right that Button is very good in the wet. Looking at the Fuji race though, I wouldn't necessarily say that a wet race favors Alonso.

Hamilton, Alonso, Raikkonen....all are good in the wet. The one who wins is the one who not only anticipates the conditions correctly but manages to strategize better.

Plainly, Massa is not good in the wet. At all. As a matter of fact he is so bad, its sad. I wish he were better.

I was wondering when someone was going to mention Kimi. I vote for him as best in the rain of the current drivers and as hopefully '07 WDC
