I saw the movie “Raise the Titanic” (1980) when I was young, based on the book by Clive Cussler novel, this was one of my favorite films as a kid. I was amazed by the special effects at that time & plus I was always fascinated with the mystery of the wreck. At an early age I wanted to work in the special effects industry & I had always wondered what had happened to the five million dollar, fifty-five foot Titanic model. Until I ran across this site, I could not believe that something like this could be trashed & abused over the years. I had thought it was in a private collection or a SPFX museum. It’s a shame if you ask me to let it die like this.
