had that same problem until I bought a remote starter. Just never park it in gear...

I hate driving a cold engine.

 

try 2 drive mine as much as possible... This has been only 2-3 times a week ( approx 3000 miles over 8 months or so. I would like 2 drive her more but my job, wife and 2 young children take a lot of my time. Sat. Mornings are usually reserved 4 driving with other enthusiasts. Most of my f-car fun happens 7am to 12 noon on Sat. Oh, how I look forward to Sat. Every day of the week. My other enjoyment with F-cars is spent several times every day on this forum. It's an addiction you know.

 

Honestly, the more I drive my 355 the better the thing runs.

 

I dont actually drive my 348 everyday, but almost! 74k miles and counting!
I bought the car to DRIVE it, and that I do... Like a raving lunatic!!

15k miles the first year I owned my TR, treated me just fine.
If maintaned properly it doesn't hurt a thing. Of course any car can give you trouble at a moments notice, regardless of your driving habits.

 

348 spider Daily driver. 10000km anually. drive like I stole it. the more I drive the better it is. Amazing sound.

 

I have had it for 25 months, I have put 5600+ miles on it in that time. I havn't spent a dime on a mechanic... no mechanical breakdowns of any kind. I have only done fluid changes, and I do those myself. Its not due for a major again until Sept 2011.
My experiences are all great, I enjoy driving it because its crazy fast, it handles like a dream and I still get that feeling of pride and honor to be driving it!

I just got back from the Arby's drive-thru... Big Montana... YUM!
