Regarding J.V. Check out this link: http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/news_story.asp?id=84477 A great article that shows that J.V. is respected by others in F1. I think Ralf should keep his mouth shut. There is no need for him to say that Williams used to complain about J.V. all the time. It seems a bit childish to me. Ralf should know that his comments won't help anything. J.V. could end up being his teamate next year and his comments won't help Williams in the long run. Just my opinion though.
seems to me that ralph has been a little on edge this season. about the incident last race between m.s. and montoya, ralph said that montoya should stop complaining and just race. im not sure if its a good idea to come out and publicly make comments about your teamate.
Don't worry JPM makes plenty of comments to his teammate and to his rivals. Look at this (its from today) http://www.f1racing.net/en/news.php?newsID=51134
"I'd just rather race Go-Karts" Another quote that fills me with rage towards Montoya. Seriously, i hate the fact that he little to no appreciation of where he is at the moment in his career. Millions of people out there would kill to be where is.... He is very lucky.
Well you know Montoya managed to drive a car round in circles very well before coming to F1, but since he joined one of the best F1 racing teams ever (in fact in the world), he has shown no real talent, he acquired a very good car (not the best, but better than the rest) he has won a few races and been fast and occasionally shown some sort of talent. But he has no skill in developing the car. Baumgartner could have been a close second to him in the same car. Probably only separated by Michael Schumacher in a class three go-cart in third gear trying to pass Montoya. There are a few class acts in the F1, Montoya is not one. Raikenen: Brilliant but in the wrong seat just now Button: Managing to develop a car that another also ran Villeneuve could not do. Weber: Again in the wrong seat. Alonso: We will see I think he is not as good as predicted but in the top few. This is a sport that the last guy on the grid is very talented and sometimes only restricted by the car he drives. But the sport requires that you can develop the car as well, informing the engineers of what is happening to the car, only a few are great at this, Montoya is not one, yes he is fast and brave but he does not have the engineering skills to develop the car and is relying on Sir Frank to hand him the car on a silver platter. And lastly he is not doing himself any favors with the sponsors who at the end of the day make much of what we follow possible. Oh and almost as a by post the thread is about Ralph, well what can be said, he can drive faster than any of us but when you have a brother like his he will always have something to prove, or maybe just take the money. (Not a bad a bad living for him though I do not think he is a poor man). Another thing about Ralph is that he is quite big for a F1 driver which cannot help. Maybe he should have been a boxer?? Drive red cars drink red wine and enjoy
