Rally and China GP Viewing, Sunday, October 1st
    -----------------------------------------------

As the most exciting F1 season in recent memory is drawing to a close, fans are on the edge of their seats, watching to see whether the prince can defend his title against the return of the king. The traveling circus is moving to Asia in October, with the GP of China being held on Sunday, October 1st in the shiny new Shanghai circuit.

Due to the time zone difference, most of us will be watching the race on our TIVOs, so Laurie Sanborn, our NH Chapter President, has decided to hold another GP viewing (tape-delayed) in the most popular sports-bar in New Hampshire - "The DRAFT". Since we had the British GP viewing back in June on this hang-out's OPENING DAY, the Draft has become a local phenomenon, with over $100k of TVs alone. We'll have the entire VIP lounge area to ourselves, where you can't turn your head without being able to see the race on yet another big plasma or projection TV.

Oh, and, as one attendee of the last event said, "man, the waitresses are sure easy on the eyes."

RALLY kick-off point: parking lot of Moto Market, 481 Great Rd, Acton, MA 01720 at 9:30 am. This is a cool little motorcycle apparel and accessory store that has a café. Usually pretty busy on weekend mornings as a hangout for motorcyclists. Grab some coffee, check out some sport bikes, then hit the road for a drive through some curvy roads in central MA and NH before ending up at The Draft, located at 67 S Main St, Concord, NH, just off of I-93. Meet us there, or head directly to the Draft, where the GP will start playing at 11:30. It wouldn't hurt to (a) bring your FRS/GMRS radios, and (b) arrive with a full tank of gas.

No charge for the rally or viewing (everyone pays for his or her own food and drink).

PLEASE let me know if you're coming!!!

    Vty,

    Dennis,
I am seriously considering coming to your tour. Long drive for me since I would be coming from the Cape, but sounds like a good time. ANd the 355 needs some exercise so I am keeping an eye on the weather and will probably decide somewhat last minute. I will let you know ASAP. Thanks

Will the monsoon hold off until the start of the GP viewing??? Don't laugh if you see a topless Mondial under a bridge chancing it in NH. Have a good time at the "FCA Member" meet ;) :)
