While at Foreign Cars Italia they gave me a book with all the FNA events for the year. They have a rally in Viriginia listed for Sept. Four days, end up in DC. It's about 6K for two to attend. Anybody do one of these, are they woth the $$?

I called them a couple of weeks ago to ask about the event. They were very nice, but could not tell me anything about where it was starting or ending, where we would be staying.... All I was told was it was $6200. Since we live in the region we wanted to know more about it as their are some really nice hotels (Greenbriar for example) that would be nice places to stay if they were part of the route. The web site does not give much information either.

My wife and I are interested in going...but before I drop that much money i would like to know what the plan is so i can make a determination about attending.

go to www.vintagerallies.com ..go to the mountain mille ..we did this last year.very very well run!!!this area has some of the best roads that i have driven on.we stayed at the greenbrier.homestead and a few others spots.i will tell you if you don't enjoy yourself something is wrong.had more fun driving those mountain roads than a race track.the people were great..all car and motor heads..no talk of work ...if your call broke down..they gave you a porsche to drive..they have been doing this for quite awhile..drove on the VIR track..in a porsche gt..what an experience.. the cost last year was $5000.worth every cent and than some.van

did the Wine Country to San Fran to Monterey in 05. I thought it was great, first class and great roads .

I also did Oregon/Washington last year.

    Came home with 3 souveniers.

    A speeding ticket in Washington
    A speeding ticket in Oregon

And most importantly , the second place trophy !

I would describe them as competitive, first class, fun, expensive and terrific roads and scenery.

Pony up the dough and enjoy

Also signed up for Virginia this year, hope to see some of you !
