I think DC is delusional and thinks he still races for McMerc where his finish would matter. He's just another mid-fielder now that's pissed he can't squeeze as many laps as he can near the end of his career. Both of those drivers are easily replaceable for much less money.
Well I agree with Ralph, but I think DC deserves another year due to his desire to improve the team. He's also proven to be a competent driver for Redbull. In other news, did you guys read this? http://www.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/070628172434.shtml Looks like Gerhard has made up his mind to bring in Sebastian. So those of you who said that his first test was a one time deal, and criticized him for not being at the top of the time sheets, even though he was in an STR lol. Cheers!

I'd personally love to see Bourdais in a Formula 1 cockpit. I'm not a big fan of his racing, but I respect what he's done in CHAMP CAR, I'd be curious to see if he could transfer his winning ways to a middle-of-the-pack team in F1.
What do you think you are reading? I saw nothing to suggest that Sebastin was signed. Berger talked him up after the first test too, before he sent him packing back to Champ Cars. You are reading far too much into his comments.
Lmao this is Gerhard Berger we're talking about, he's always played with his words like this before instead of just saying it flat out. You wait and see then, Bourdais is already testing again for Spa. If you like, we could make a wager as to whether or no he get's the seat?
The way I read his comments after Bourdais' first test, it was a polite "thanks but no thanks". The fact is that if STR really wanted Bourdais, they would have bought out his contract. I don't see anyone else in F1 lining up to sign him, do you? I am happy to wager on Bourdais. If he was F1 material, he would already be there, he is hardly an unknown quantity.
Agreed but Bourdais may actually do a better job than some of the mid fielders. Only time will tell (that is if he ever gets a ride). I'd rather see Bourdais in an F1 than DC, Schumi Jr. or Sato (thank god JV is already gone). In any case I'm not so sure that going to STR is a good move. He might want to pull a "Montoya" and defect to NASCAR.
Yeah but Bourdais has already done all there is to do and more in American open wheel racing. An oppotunity in F1 is a rare thing, to say that all talented drivers are in F1, or say that they aren't talented enough simply because they aren't in F1 is stupid. There are only 22 seats on the grid and some teams are looking for money or a famous name more than talent. Senna3xwc: I'll pm you with the proposed terms soon.
