    So I needed a quick printer for a new office and spent $29.95 on a HP 3915, now time has come to replace the cartridges and it costs almost $60 to replace both cartridges. I'm just going to buy a new printer since they come with two free cartridges and save 50% and have a printer to take up space.

    FWIW some new printers only come with low capacity ink cartridges and it might be better to just get some generic brank ink cartridges.

    Or go to one of the PC places and get one of the Rapid Refill cartidges. You take your old cartridge in and trade it for a refilled one for approximately $20 per cartridge exchange. It has worked for me several times. Saves a lot over buying brand new.
