Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have a 2005 Range Rover. The battery went dead yesterday and now the power light for the radio just flashes orange. The nav screen still powers up and displays the "Land Rover" logo, however I can't turn the radio on. Everything else is in working order... I am under the assumption that there is no such thing as a "radio code" in a 2005 Range Rover, I thought this was the problem at first.... If anyone has encountered this problem and can shed some light on the subject, I would really appreciate it...I've got a long car trip tomorrow and the dealer is closed till Monday! Thanks in advance! -Neil
Sorry I do not know the code, but I would think twice before heading pout on the highway. We had an 05 that suffered a differential failure on the highway. Not related but the electrical gremlins start with something simple and then seem to multiply rapidly. There is a rr owners forum ( sorry I can't remember the site name) that is really good. 90% of posts are owners asking for help with issues and consoling each other for purchasing such an unreliable car. Let me know if you canot find forum and I will get the website off my old pc in my son's room.
