The Simeone Collection "only" has two Ferrari's as permanent fixtures in the collection a 375MM and a 250TR. But, the museum has had a number of important Ferrari's on display at the museum including a 250LM, a 250P, and the 365P (three seater). The collection also has a great batch of vintage Alfa Romeo's. See here for a car listing and more information www.simeonefoundation.org

I was able to see many of James cars this weekend. We hear about the individual stories separately and that's impressive, but when they are there together it is simply mind blowing. Others can fill in what I'm missing.

JG has an impressive collection by any standards. Although he may be a new guy to many people he has been a car guy for a long time. Alberto Pedretti and Eno DePasquale have been doing work for him for many years before FChat.
More importantly he is a true enthusiast and very accessible! Gets my vote for one of the best (along with Sal of course).

Surprised no one has mentioned Nick Mason in this thread. While his collection is not Ferrari centered it does include 250GTO, 512S, 365GTB/4 Daytona Competizione, 512BBLM, 312T3 F1 car, F40, Enzo, among its number. Heard he is pretty handy with a set of drums too ;)

Is anyone familiar with this (ex?) collection? The collection was apparently owned by Dutch entrepreneur Harrie van de Moesdijk states a Dutch website. There is no record of him being a prominent Ferrari collector that I can find, the information doesnt seem to be correct. Apparently he sold them all to buy a single painting?

Was this his collection? Is that his garage?

Van de Moesdijk had a lot of contempory production cars.
They were located on the second floor of an Audi dealership in the south of Holland.
A few years back he sold most of his collection to Kroymans.
Kroymans sold most as inventory from his dealership.

There were only a few interesting cars, 288GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo where the highlights of his garage.

    Nowadays, he's into art.

I only just found out it was Jack Thomas who bought s/n 12925 (the Daytona Hardtop one off). I believe he also owns s/n 0355 AL (Agnelli's 375 America), 342 America s/n 0248 AL and 250 GT Boano 0527 GT.

Some very interesting cars as well.

Well, at least Rohn is the buyer of the most expensive Ferrari to date (0666 TR). So maybe not the wealthiest man in the world, but he certainly does have some cash lying around.

It has been brought to my attention that Carlos Hank Rohn is NOT the buyer of s/n 0666 TR. I got the info from barchetta.cc but apparently it is incorrect. Sorry for any inconvience.

I also saw the Rohn listing. I thought the auction company usually announced who bought it, unless it was over the phone purchase.
