    I suppose I should have read this somewhere, but is there an explanation of the titles and rankings somewhere?

    RANKS ...
    Karting to Double F1 World Champ (based on number of posts) (got it)

    TITILE
    Silver Subscribed (got it)
    Rossa Subscribed (got it)
    Moderator (got it)
    Consultant (?)
    Banned User (why?)
    Honorary (how?)

    Are there others I missed?

    On a side note ... according to the rules ...

    ... but is it OK to post a reference to another post to increase the likelyhood of responses. For example, I posted a thread about a gear box leak in the General Forum, but since it was a TR I posted a link there too, as well as in Technical Q&A (but indicated it was a dup and refered them to the original). Is that OK?

    Ranks:

    0-249 = Karting
    250 = Formula Junior
    1,000 = Formula 3
    2,500 = F1 Rookie
    5,000 = F1 Veteran
    10,000 = F1 World Champ
    20,000 = Two Time F1 World Champ
    30,000 = Three Time F1...

    Consultant is a user that has something to share with you or learn :) Like for instant a computer consultant... or someone who is great with maintenance of your Ferrari .. and similar.

    Banned user is if for example you don't act correct and after a warning you can get banned.

    Honary.. If I'm not mistaken you're voted to be this.

    I can't see any problems by linking to your post about gearbox problems :)
