    Had the same problem with my son because he went to HS out of state. Came off 3 yrs. AD with PA as HOR and paid PA taxes. Finally had to call my Congressman to end the issue.

    OBU is a private school. There is only one rate. Needless to say, it is much more expensive than any of the other institutions in Oklahoma

    The real key would be where you are filing your state income tax returns. It would be hard to claim you are not a resident if you are paying personal income taxes to Oklahoma. It would be be just as hard to claim you are a resident if you are paying income taxes to another state.
    Property ownership does not by itself constitute residency.

    You're right.. I think that was what tipped the tables... I've always paid OK State Tax.
