    Not bad at all.

We’re happy to report that rapper Fabolous, a.k.a. John David Jackson, is the proud owner of a new Aston Martin Rapide sedan. He was spotted in New Jersey recently visiting his local barber shop and we managed to scoop these images of his new ride, which reportedly cost him around $250,000.

In a previous sighting, somewhere in Manhattan it appears, Fabolous gives us a few details about the Aston Martin Rapide and even some helpful advice. It certainly is one car that you could describe as ‘Ghetto Fabolous’.

Thanks to Garden State Jewelers for sending in the images.

The Rapide has to be one of the most under-whelming sedans for what you get for the money. FYI, they retail from 190-210k. 250 is made-up.
Pretty maybe, but for that money? Over a 760Li, Flying Spur, Quattroporte GTS, S63/S65, XJL Supersport...list goes on.

I want to like the car but I just don't. It looks ok, till you see a Vantage or DBS. Then it just looks weird. I really hope Aston Martin starts differentiating their products soon. They are good looking cars, but everything going back to the DB7 looks nearly identical.

The Panamera knocks the socks off a Quattroporte, I've experienced the two back to back. The Rapide looks to be more style than actual practicality. I'm not knocking it from personal experience though.

I wonder what kind of residuals they are expecting/what they can be had for a in a few years time. I love the Rapide, but not the price.... It's performance really is rather underwhelming for the cost.

It is unfortunate the Panamera's looks are even more underwhelming for the cost, given its performance is truly breathtaking.

Give the Rapide the Porsche's performance while retaining the V12, and we would have a real winner that WOULD be worth the asking price, IMHO.

Not a bad ride for someone who can't spell his own name.

Have you seen them in person ?

I think the Rapide is way better looking than everything else you listed. Its a gorgeous car.

As far as performance...if you can afford a $200k sedan Im pretty sure you have other toys to get your performance kick.

I think the Rapide is selling very well....at least until it stops being "the latest and greatest" high-end car.

It is a beautiful car so I give him props for not choosing the average rapper 'pimp mobile'.
