Rare Ferrari F355 UT

Hi Richy - I was under the impression that UT only had red, yellow and black 355s (Berlinetta, GTS) and spyders in red and yellow.

I wonder if the blue and silver were custom paint jobs? If not, I'd certainly like to see some pics as well. UT 355s are excellent.

I have 8 UT f355's myself and one HotWheels.
The blue one is indeed a repaint and the Challenges are customs.
The only rare ones I have are the yellow Spider and the red GTS...

I have a red UT 335 TS. They're great new, but they don't age well.

Hi all. I'm an old 1:18 collector but a new guy on this forum.

I didn't know there were other than red and yellow spyders, but I have come across some unusual berlinettas. Here are some pics of the blue and silver. The rumor I've heard is that they were released in Europe in very limited numbers. As you can see from the blue boxes, this was early in the life of UT Models. No, I don't own these, though. I have to be happy with my black one.

This blue spider looks like its been re-painted. For some reason the paint finish doesnt look quite right.

 

Thanks GTS - I will add the blue 355 Berlinetta to my wish list. Must be extremely rare indeed.

More than anything else Mattel need to get some of these older 355GTB and 355GTS shells rolling down the production line with new paint schemes.

I have a single UT 355GTB in red and even these are worth quite a bit.

I just aquired both of the F355 UT diecast 1:18 models in blue- the berlinetta and the spyder. I will try and post some of the pictures after I receive them. I have been told that only 200 of each of these and also a silver berlinetta were handed out (YES, FREE!)to the public that attended the opening of the ut plant in Europe. Mostly to the VP's of the company, so I presume that most of those cars have become toys for there children and if you can find them still intact that they are worth a mint-I know what I paid!
The last one on ebay was sold for about $350. The 2 I picked up still have the banding on them! I will put up some pictures then!

Where do you buy these UT models? I've been looking all over the web. I'd like to get a red one - not a spider. Seems its not too hard to find a red or yellow 355 spider (Hot Wheels) but I haven't seen too many GTS or Berlinettas - certainly not for sale. Suggestions?

Wow, I paid about $30 for my UT 355 GTS. Maybe I should sell it.

 

I have 3 UT Ferrari F355s (GTS, Berlinetta, & Spyder) at the moment. I had a F355 GTS (brand new MIB) I bought for $28.00 4 years ago that I sold on eBay just before X-Mas for $102.00. The GTS I have now I bought for $18.00 shipped b/c it had 2 broken wheels. I switched the chassis from a red Spyder that had missing parts already but a perfectly solid chassis.
