Saw it , I love Jack, this other idiot comes to test drive a car in his ghetto footwear, I would have told home to go home and come back proper . Dumb ass. Thank you
Yeah I watched a couple of the ratarossa videos before I realized he is just another youtuber doing planned stunts to pull eyeballs that just happen to involve Ferraris. Jack seems to be genuinely trying to improve his car. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
That's maybe a bit harsh, the fellow is in the middle of a bare metal restoration of a 512 BBi. Last week he posted a full "how to" video on changing the clutch in a 360 on his driveway
TBF to the guy, he owns/has owned quite a few Ferrari's, including 308's, so he would have known his footwear isn't really suitable for driving this car. My monies on he wasn't expecting to drive the car, and the offer came out the blue to him. You're not happy about his footwear? - It's not your car he's driving, so why get so upset about it? Jack obviously didn't have any serious issues with the guy's footwear, otherwise I'm sure he wouldn't have let him drive it!
I watched a number of videos posted by both gentlemen.Found them all entertaining and quite informative. Both men seem down to earth and clearly have a passion for Ferrari.
Maybe. Not saying he does not roll his sleeves up and get dirty but just watch the first time he viewed the 512. Then count how many videos he made without even simply vacuuming the crud out of the engine bay. He was stringing along his audience. He clearly has money right, but still has not painted the Testarossa in my opinion because he enjoys the controversy it provokes. I much prefer Jack’s channel, Retropower, Iain Tyrell or Harry’s Garage but your mileage may vary. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Both entertainment esp Jacks for me as I bought one blind @ Auction .They are simple cars to work on . Ian Tyrell and Lou Trottier ( sp ? ) are equally in the mix . Variety- yes but all F nuts . Car wizard is restoring a 308 as well .
Yes there are certainly some channels out there with great content. Almost forgot Petrolicious and the movie-like gems on Simon Kidstons channel. Watched a couple of Hoovies videos and enjoyed his dramas and self deprecating humor until I realized they seemed to be orchestrated failures and that was his formula for entertainment. I guess I am not a fan of un-“reality tv”. If you enjoy seeing wonderful fabrication skills and amazing attention to detail check out Project Utah on Retropower. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I watch all of them, anything that has a 308 in it basically. The flip-flops are a Ratarossa trademark there are even a few videos of him mig welding with them on. Influenzo's trademark is (was) his pajamas but unfortunately he hasn't been seen in them lately and wasn't wearing them in this collaborative shoot. What fascinates me about these Brits is how they can work on these cars in these tiny little garages with absolutely no room to move.
