Common problem. Bolts work loose and drop inside of carbon
tub. Can be massive job to locate and fix.

Bummer to hear that it could be a massive job. On the other hand, I'm sure that the majority here would love to know what having that problem feels like :)

Perhaps but the bottom line is that vibration loosens bolts and when they drop inside the tub you have two problems. Something is loose and what dropped into the tub rattles. IMO there are a lot of bolts on Ferrari's that should be super lock tited/safety wired.

This will not go away and if whats loose is critical very bad things can happen. Early on some Enzo's had extra dropped bolts from assembly inside the tub that were a ***** to find but if this came on suddenly years later I suspect something has fallen into the Tub.

I'd take it in to a good dealer. Kevin at WWOC has experience with this problem. So does Sal but he's booked for the foreseeable future...

What bolts are these? I'd like to check my car (November 2003) to see how they look.

The problem is that a lot of things are attached to the tub many of which aren't easily accessible. These cars were made in 2003. It's not surprising that at some point they'd have to be taken completely apart and put back together. We do this with our Le Mans era cars every 5 years or so. Personally after 10 years I want to inspect all plumbing as well and replace high PSI Fuel hoses. Our active race car P 4/5 Competizione gets torn down and rebuilt after every test session and race. A lot of thing loosen up especially suspension bolts.
We have spare assemblies and remove them completely and replace them with fully checked out ones. We rebuild the ones we take off and then have a renewed spare.

    Here's what we do:

bummer indeed .....not to long ago a found a nice craftsman tool, a magnet pick-up, but with a flexible (wound coil) 2.5' length....might do the trick?

Hard to say but keep in mind that even to get to access points is a lot of work/removal.

Bit of a ridiculous fault to be honest. Hope you get it fixed or at least made less annoying

i can only imagine ....i know in past one trick is we to apply a dab of clear silicon (after the bolt is tq'd) to the outside bolt edge (just a single dab) which would prevent a bolt from backing out if it got loose ....this is maybe not ideal for an Enzo, but there is at least one market product i know that does the same thing, and prevents a bolt from backing out physically, even if loosened from vibration

There are other possibilities as the rear suspension. There are updated bushings and control arms to address looseness there. Where the engine cross bars bolt to the upper rear tub frame is another bad spot. A bigger problem, makes some noise, shown below.
