RattHi I have two niggles with the car right now. First is that passenger side seat rattles, really hard to identify, if when driving I apply some pressure around where the seat pivots or pressure on the far side of seat, it appears to stop. Can anyone think of what could cause that? secondly I feel my windows in the front corner by the wing mirror are not sealing properly and create wind noise, there is a also a small gap between end of seal and wing mirror end of door where the windows retract. Anyone know how hard / expensive it is to replace the door / window seals? thanks a lot! M
For rattle, take the seat out and see if you can tighten it up at the attachment and if not possible, try something viscous in the round hinge. Got to be able to see it better to fix it and that usually requires removal. For the window, they usually need adjustment in time. Need to open the door and adjust the window. Accounts for the front and rear seal. Realtively common in 360's and 430's due to the 456 window regulator used.
