But one thing I can agree on, Fchat will miss you, and I will have one less person to joust with.

I'll try to hold up my end of the bargain here, and continue to defend old school liberal standards.

John, respectfully, I don't understand why you always point out being called "weight challenged" but carefully leave out the fact that Art was banned for that?

 

Am hoping this all just setting up another of MM's April fool's style jokes. If not would wonder why you would like to see a valuable member like MM leave. And I agree some house cleaning needs to be done with some Mods.

 

You guys have missed the obvious:

Maranelloman Dave IS the NEW POPE!!!!

He had to leave in order to concentrate on his new job. Just as soon as they get his computer wired up in the Vatican apartment, the clandestine switch from Benedict to Maranelloman will be made and Dave will assume the covert papal duties.
I can't believe that others can't see the sinister wheels that are in motion. JG gets a new P3/4 Ferrari. A new Pope is elected. Maranelloman leaves F-chat. Surely everyone can't believe that it's not all tied together.

And most troubling of all, I'm sure that the Burger "KING" is also involved in this whole conspiracy somewhere. I told you he was creepy!

Drama queens always anounce their departure and then like to read the obit to see how well "loved" they are.....I had this guy on IGNORE for ages, now that he's "gone" I'll subscribe finally after reading and contributing since the inception (of the original Fchat)

makes sense to me wether guilty or innocent he has been involved in a fair chunk of issues on here, i havent personaly seen any actions from him that would warrant getting kicked out but if HE is making the choice to leave Rob would be a fool to beg him to stay. As far as i am aware the account is still active and he is welcome to come back at any time. At the end of the day it is his decision and i think we all have to respect both his and Robs choices

 

WTF happened??!! Say it ain't so Dave! You are one of many people that make this site so great. Damn, there are so many people here that have thin skin & need to get over it.

Sorry to hear that you are leaving but I understand that this is your choice. Take care & I'll see you at various track events. You're a wise man & great driving instructor with an excellent sense of humor.

What were the last 100 threads you participated in? This is a cheap shot against Dave and insulting to those who spend time in off topic but are serious contributors to the forum, such as your own moderators.

If it wasn't for Matt, Byron, Jean-Louis, Ron, Bob, Marty, Dave, MarkPDX, Dom, and others who spend more time in Off Topic than any other/all others combined, I'd have never forked over money. I can't afford a Ferrari, why would I subscribe to a Ferrari board? I give more money here than I do my other board where I'm a key contributor for the car sitting in my driveway. I certainly hope this community is still more about people than it is subscriber strength.

Dave (Maranelloman) makes me laugh. Art makes me frustrated. Bob makes me... well, nevermind that.

I come here to relax and B.S. not be judged based on how many flame wars I participate in, where I make my posts, or how much Ferrari content is contained therein.
