Gimick or a good phone? Anyone have one yet? i have a v600 that i like a lot, but the display is acting up. i can get it taken care of, but at the same time........new is better, right....?
I'm on the same boat...V600, waiting to hear and see if the razr is worth the upgrade. its $500 right now, which i wouldnt mind paying as long as its much better than my V600...I have also had problems with the screen. Not only that, but the reception is much worse than my V60 at times. To be honest, I'm just looking for an excuse to upgrade, so I really hope this razr is as good as they say it is
I went to Cingular today and looked at one. I do like the size, even though it it wider then the V600. I have read on some moblie phone fourms that recpetion may not be as good as the v600 though...ugh...... thanks mdo
I have had it for about a week now. It is a great phone but it does nothing different than the other new phones. Basically a great new package. The battery has been unbelievably great so far and the phone gets very loud which is helpful. You can only use bluetooth headsets for now but a new headset with a usb plug is due out Vernon
I really want this phone but now Im on the PDA phone boat with my Treo. I hope the new version comes out soon. I need bluetooth.
Watch out if you're considering buying one on eBay. There's a LOT of scammers out there.... seems like 50% of the RAZR listings are fake. I am sorta looking at this phone too. Where is it $500? Is that subsidized through a carrier? I'm with T-Mobile and they don't offer it... so my best price is probably $750-850 on eBay which I won't pay for a damn phone. Subsidized at $500 or less... I'd have to think about that one
out here in Cali., Cingular has it for $499. Wirefly.com I think has it for $399 right now, but I forgot if that is with service. In a month I think it will come down to $399 everywhere...maybe 2 months. VWH3RD--Thanks for the feedback. Have you used the speaker function? The speaker phone is very good I think this phone has the loudest ringer and speaker of any phone I have ever used One thing this phone has is AOL instant messenger. I don't use it but it might be good if you use it
I don't know who has them but gsmphonesource.com and expansys.com carries a lot of gsm phones. You have to pay full price though. expansys will let you order phones before they are released so you can get it first.
