Although this may not be the place to post pics , There was a good Ferrari Presence there and figured I would share my images with this community here.
Here are a few pics from Sundays event beginning at Natirar in Gladstone . I arrived an 1-1/2 late in the morning and missed photographing a display of more than 225 exotics . Then we headed out to West Point Military Academy. This was the largest gathering of Unique cars for a charity event that I have ever been too . I will focus more on the Ferraris that were displayed . In love with Yellow Italia 458 .

Great shots of some great cars. Thanks for posting this up. Unrelated to your pictures, the shot of the two SLSs seems to indicate there is now one more car model on the planet that owners will think looks better with the doors up than down.

Some members here posted it in some other threads here . Then again I belong to many forums and groups. Through some networking and socializing you seem to find out through others. Facebook also a great tool to find out .

The SLS has a pretty mean engine an exhaust . Displayed at the Connecticut Concours a few weeks ago as people exited the vehicle , 9 / 10 people hit their heads on the door . Not a big fan of the "wing" doors . Unique in their own way , personally not for me . Seems like owners starving for attention when they are open .Almost a symbol of arrogance but to each their own . Ferrari is my passion .

I saw a bunch of you guys on the highway.. cars looked suite.. my only problem is that some of you were driving crazy.. Just keep in mind that some of us regular drivers in our regular daily cars have our children in the car and when you guys are coming up from behind at a high rate of speed its nerve racking.. especially on a day when there are alot of cars on the road.. Just a thought..

I was at the tail end of the group and oddly enough the first one to arrive at West Point Military Academy .

It seemed that most highway driving people were unsure about routes and such . For the most part the group of ferrari's that I was driving with were Calm .

My experience from going on most of these "runs" are that The vehicles that they are driving as we all know are incredibly expensive . Most would not want to damage their vehicle in any manner so aggressive and irresponsible is usually not displayed even though desired.
I would say there were 237 cars to my knowledge and there are always some who like to push and play .Even though most of the time are "outsiders" taking pics and or feel like challenging an exotic with their tuned up honda or whatever .

On the same note being that it is summer there are many car clubs and groups that get together on a sunday and head to NJ , Bear Mountain and the Hamptons.

I may have some other pics from the event most may be identical and or boring , ill post them just for the heck of it . These were a bunch of basic shots , no great photography here but glad most like them .

it was a great day , met up with many friends from different car clubs a great charity . I definitely recommend it . Natirar is a beautiful location http://www.natirar.com/ Just walking around the estate is breathtaking .

I'm pretty pissed I missed the rally, though I don't own an exotic, so it wouldn't have been that exciting for me. I was at the FCNJ/Hamilton Jewelers event, so it was still a good day. Thanks for posting the pics, TaxDr said it was a GREAT TIME and very exciting. I can't wait till it comes around again, maybe I can "co-pilot" with someone next year! Hope you all had a great time!! Nice turnout!

I was scheduled and planned to go to the Hamilton Jewelers event . The people at Ferrari of Central NJ are always good to me and I usually attend all their events . I have been wanting to go to this one since last year .

    Funny you mentioned "Co-Pilot " which I usually ride in a Ferrari / Lambo Depending on friends . I have strayed away from most of them even though I do still talk to most but I want to be at my own pace at these events . Some of my friends Find them boring and want to leave right away . Seen one exotic and seen them all . I usually travel alone these days so I am at my own discretion . I make new friends and yes I would always like to tag along and take some great motion shots . Two problems ;

1 - Some dont mind taking you but some of these events are far away then they have to drive you back to your car which might be off route .
2- If your like me I am 40 years old and Its kind of weird for me to ask to " come along for the ride " When I am a complete stranger .

Asim / What color Scuderia ?
I arrived at the event late where they were already speaking about the charity in the guest house minutes before we were enroute to West Point . I normally would have been there early , For the Dolner event , I had some company that weekend and It was too much for me to drop her off then drive out there so I opted just to take her with me .
I took Some random shots as we were headed to the vehicles nothing great or worth bragging about but I will post the rest if they are not too bad later on tonight .
    thnx

Yeah, I was at the event and indeed some participant were going way too fast on the highway. Unfortunately I didn't get a map in the beginning and didn't know the way so I was "forced" to keep up. There were a few Lambos in particular that was especially aggressive. Not sure what they are trying to proof on the highway. That they can smash the accelerator pedal and go fast in a straight line?

haha, I was leading the 2nd half group for a bit in my 911TT and tried to keep it around 80-85.

About 3 seconds after we passed the exit for 280, I literally got my doors blown off by ferraris, lambos, loti, etc etc.

    Cool, but also quite dangerous.

Where are all the Maserati Owners? Seems like I am the only one who shows up at local shows in the area. I saw one Maserati in pics here. Hope to make it next time!

There were a few, I had two parked directly next to me on the first row of the great lawn.
This was a great event, as it was last year. I'm looking forward to the Gold Coast Concours show on September 12th 2010- RCDolner is involved with this as well and it 100% benefiting the Diabetes Research Institute which is a cause near and dear to my heart.
Both the RC Dolner and Gold Coast shows were the highlight of my 2009 events!
