+10000000000 to infinite. Much as I dont like agreeing with you mate Iam 100% behind you on that... Still Rosberg is top with a 1:55.409
I thought Matchett's theory on its discovery as a peripheral from diffuser tests last year was quite astute.
Hobbs just said LeMans has two different classes - he he he Lotus ahead of both Virgin cars - great effort from these guys - 5 month from beginning to P2 - fantastic session over.

Session ended. Hopefully f1.com is fixed tomorrow so I can get live timing screenies. 12:31 Nico Rosberg tops the timesheet this afternoon from Hamilton, Schumacher, Button and Vettel. Nico used to pull the same **** last year and never place. See you all tomorrow for prac3/qual
Varsha said he talked to PW (who he was hoping to interview) and the FIA said he and the other applicants are suppose to keep quiet ???? poor usf1 they have to re-apply if interested in 2011
I know it's just the first 2 practices with new teams and all, but it is still weird to see 11+ seconds separating first from last on Live Timing. Especially relative to last year when there was so much parity (even just a few tenths separating the entire field.) The new teams will be almost dangerous on Sunday if they don't improve their pace.
I am on another computer this morning and the f1.com live timing is working fine compared to the problems I had during P1 - see you in the morning!! Carol
it's too bad that the driver's will actually have to pass slower cars - NO more Sunday afternoon processional drives for 1.5 hours - if they can't handle slower traffic then they are far less capable drivers than those driving the LMP1's at Le Mans - making ALL those drivers at the 24h the PINNACLE of world drivers - he he (Schumi can handle FOUR classes at a time) Carol
Very interesting session this morning. As we all knew, the backmarkers are WAY off the pace (reminds me a lot of the turbo era when the turbos were running away and the backmarkers were several seconds off the pace). However, in the defense of the newcomers, backmarker starter teams usually start out several seconds off the pace for at least the first few races of their inaugural season... It is really strange seeing the red MS helmet in the almost completely silver Silver Arrows. Having Rosberg go faster than him in practice will motivate him to no end. I look for him to amend that situation rather quickly once the car is developed more to his taste. Quite notable that now that Mercedes have their own team, Norbert Haug was nowhere near the Mac pits. Also, rather amusing to see Ron Dennis hamming it up in the Mac pit since Mad Max is gone... I am really disappointed with the pace that I saw from Ferrari. I for one certainly hope they were sandbagging it... Frank p.s. I really love the Lotus color scheme, very reminiscent of their color schemes in the 60s with the British racing green and yellow mix. Very nice!
Missed the first few minutes, it's not often that I wake up at 6 AM on a Friday morning. I'm afraid I'll have to record Quali tomorrow and watch it at a more sane hour. Hmmm, a good Practice for Nico, anyone ever seen that before? Problem is, he almost never translates that to race position, but good luck to him. Senna the Younger not exactly making a big splash, but then again, look what he was driving....... There's no playing with fuel for Quali this year, so we'll really get to see how fast the cars are....
I dunno, for some reason it won't send out the email for the password reset. MIght just start a new account.
Don't you mean LAP slower cars that are having blue flags waved at them? I hope they hire marshalls in good shape as their arms will be getting quite a workout this year.
