    I need to have some parts re-plated and wondered if anyone can
    suggest someone who will handle small lots in the NY-PA-NJ-CT area.
    I'm in NJ.

    Hi Bob... as a matter of fact, I did have some underhood parts plated. The golden zinc colored process is simply called yellow zinc chromate. I had it done by Manco Plating in Newark NJ. Its a family run shop... you want to speak to the son who is a fellow gearhead. I will look for their biz card tmrw for more info. Its been a couple years since I dealt with them, so the details are a little fuzzy. Chck back here in a day or two.

    Thanks for the reply Greg. They're one of the places I was going to try.
    I assume they have some kind of minimum?

    I will probably gather all the stuff together for a single run but I hate taking multiple car's worth of parts in at once.

    Did you prep the pieces or did they strip and blast them for you?
    Were you happy with their service?
