    As posted in other forum, i have a 456 that on deacceleration i can notice a smell of fuel , i have checked for leaks and nil found, on removing fuel cap there is a rush of 'air/vapour', which i have been told is normal. The previous owner had the cats removed . Anyone got any ideas?

    I've noticed the rush of air when the fuel cap is removed, do these cars not have a breather hose somewhere, there must almost be a vacuum in the fuel tank when empty?
