    Hi guys
After a downtime of about 2 years, I would like to start my 308 GTSI again. How would you go about that? Just go for it or should you take care of oil pressure or lubrication first? I thought about pulling the relay for the fuel pump and letting it turn a few times. What do you all mean?
Thank you very much for your comments!

I’m more worried about the timing belts conditions and/or the tensioner bearings.

Pull the fuel pump relay, give it a spin. Once the oil pressure needle moves. Plug in the pump relay, pull the blue connector at the air flow meter and the pump should run. Once it builds pressure, connect the blue connector and start the car. Then if you have issues, address them. Most likely, it will start and run.

You need to get the fuel burned there - 2 years danger!

There is a fuel drain in the crossover line between the fuel tanks under the car. If the car has regular auto fuel, I think I would drain it and install fresh fuel.

    Drain fuel at bottom.
    Add new fresh fuel.
    Charge battery, or replace it.
If the timing belts are within 5 years of service, fire it up.
    Tune up as needed.

If timing belts are beyond 5 years, do the service first.

Was stabilizer added to the fuel before the layoff?

If so: Get in; start car.

If not: Get in, TRY to start car. If car won't start, new fuel may be necessary.
