Had a coupling leaking coolant on the oil/water heat exchanger and removed waterpump and steering pump belt. Both belts are 3 months old and were replaced during major service. Should I replace them again or can I re-use them? BTW the car is a 360.

3 months? Any coolant leak on the belt or any damage to the belt? If no then why not use them? I replaced the accessory belt in my Boxster because I thought it was causing a humming. Turns out it was a bad water pump. I reused the 1 month old belt, and 2 years later no issues...

Both belts are dry and look new as when I installed them. I thought that once they were stretched they could not be reused

That only applies to timing belts.

Unless you have extra money. ;)

The only acc belt on any car I consider as a mandatory replacement / no re-use is the one that drives the P/S pump --- it is un-nerving to be driving along and suddenly lose power steering in most cars. :)

Did you keep the old belt when you had it changed?

If not, perhaps buy a new one now, change the belt, and keep the three month old one as a spare. Then again, I believe in having a spare with me because Murphy's law assures me that I won't use it if I have it in the car!
