I think the modular rims look amazing! That is one thing I wanted on mine when looking.

    Hi Nicholas599,

The black car seems pretty nice, even if you have to wash black all the time.
The good option for the 599 are internal carbon door panels.

additionally to my 599, I drive a black 7 serie too: 745D from end 2005, with 375HP and 860nm of torque

good luck in your new project

    Nicolas (from France)

Those aren't stars; they're pentagrams :) I'd always be looking back after I parked to see if any were upside down. Just kidding. Seriously, it's a lot of car and a lot of black to take care of. It's stunning, gorgeous, but if it's not your first choice you may come to resent the nero.

Thanks for your replies Piper & doctorj.
@ Nicofr: You are right !!! I love the black color when is clean but you have to wash
    it all the time.

I was thinking about the Paint Protection Film, in order to protect the vehicle from stone
    chipping, e.t.c.
At my Black 760, the marks from the small stones on my front bumper are terrible and I have to repaint it.

Does anyone had an experience with the protection film before?
Is the original paint looks different after you apply the film?

    Hi Nicholas,
Yes, with the film, the pain is quite different.
I do not have the film, but it is certainly very useful because of stones in the front and also due to projection from the front wheels on the side skirts.
I just come to make the front of my 599 paint after 4 years and the side skirts have been painted twice now. Those should be protected, in particular at the end all around the grill.

I have front film on a couple of my cars. It does protect it. But it doesn't look quite as good. Look at a couple before you have it done. I dont mind washing a car so I really like black cars but that's just me. I like the wheels on my car better.

@Nicofr : Hi Nicolas, I have the same problem with the BMW. I already painted the front
3 years ago, and now I have to repaint it.
Maybe I will go and try a Matte Black or Matte White Full Wrap, but I hesitate a little bit...
At the end, if I don't like the result, I can take it out ;-)

@carcommander: Thanks for the tip !! I don't mind washing my car either but I don't
want to do it every 2-3 days ;-)

Your car looks great !!! I really start to love black color on 599.
So far, 90% of the 599
I have seen on the streets in Athens are red....

I think I prefer the 599 in black (obviously) but I do like the red. I like all the silver colors as well. Just get what you like. :)

I painted my 599, even if mine is grigrio silverstone and we can see less the stones compare the other colors:)
Ok, it is late, I stop!
Nevertheless, I would hesitate to take a black color if I wanted to drive often...In particular because we want to have a perfect F599 all the time, more than for other cars
