360 Reaffirmation of my 360

Same here. I started eyeing-/ 458, gt3…. Mclaren…. Then I step in my garage and see her my francesca…..

 

If it wasn’t for owning a British car (TR6) as a teenager, my passion for cars and wrenching likely wouldn’t have happened. That’s a good and a bad thing…emphasis on wrenching haha.

As I described my 360 to a friend…it’s like riding a Guzzi. Does most things good, but always makes me smile (great). She is a keeper.

For me it’s the simplicity of the 360/430 platform. The new cars with all their added stuff in and on them make them less appealing to me personally.

 

The problem with McClaren is my wife would turn to me and ask me "what kind of Ferrari is that?"

 

I have the same wandering eye but fortunately I also always come to my senses.

 

I didn’t expect to read Mustang GT, but glad you didn’t do it. I love my 360, I usually only lust over other Ferrari models. 430/599 and California 30’s. I can’t figure out which one I want next.

 

The 360 will always be one of the most beautiful cars to me. Every line is perfection. A fitting end of an era.

My buddy has a 360, me a 430. I love driving behind him just to hear the exhaust sound as he’s going through the gears.

Definitely. Superb design that has aged so, so well. The 360 is perfectly sized, both outside and inside. In CS spec especially with the ever so subtle more aggressive bodywork and the little lip on the rear, it's just perfect to me. There is no bad angle on this car. Inside it's big, even me with my 6'10'' I fit comfortably (ok with racing seats but we'll gloss over that).

Modena, Spider, CS. All of them amazing cars.

 

I love my 360 too. I look around at newer Ferrari's and none off them look as nice. The 296 GTB is probably the best looking new Ferrari IMO, but it has a V6 and a cramped cabin (I'm 6ft 5 and struggle to get in). And other brands just don't have the prestige of Ferrari.

So I'll be keeping my 360 .

 

I have had the pleasure to own/lease the 328, 348, 355 GTS, Challenge Stradale, 360 Coupe and F430 Spider over the last 14 years.

The 360 Model of any Body Style is my favorite, the 328 is my 2nd favorite model.

 

I would not give you a thankyou for a Mac. They leave me cold and I still couldn't tell you one model to the next unless it was written on it. I know, I know, they are so fast an all that blah blah!!

I used to be and have the fastest things on the road, but I'm over all that now, its all about the overall package, NA, noise, feel, looks and how those prancing horse's on the car brings out the kid in you and making your hairs stand on end!

For what you can buy F430's and 360's for, I still know nothing better for their value. They are Supercars bargains!

 

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all. The 360 has it all. Especially the Modena IMO. You'll sell it, then regret it before the new "toy" cools down in your garage.

 

Youre not alone, i get a wandering eye too for the mclarens....the price point is attractive for the performance and styling of the GT, the 570s or the 570GT .

I could see adding a Mclaren, 458, or GT3 in the future, but I wouldn’t sell my old F car….the analog experience and connection to the road is just too satisfying.
