Another video in a series my nephew has been doing with our family cars Real 0-60 Ferrari F430 - YouTube Enjoy
Driving in auto at first ? Who does that, really ? Viper Acr time of 4.5, was he sleeping ? Owning a Viper GTS that I know is much slower than a ACR, way slower, I know the ACR can run easy under 4seconds with any decent driver, maybe not in ice cold weather - that goes for any rear wheel drive. Ferrari is so much better than the Viper, he states- well in what way ? Not at any track, road race or 1/4 mile - for sure. At the valet park maybe. I am pretty sure I can get my 360 down to low 4 seconds- below 4.5, so how do you do so bad in a 430 ? Measuring 0-60 times on a on ramp, putting on gloves while moving ? Saw this yesterday - just had to comment.......It may be critical but I am a firm believer if you post stuff like it better be good, unless this is a joke, maybe ?
Just some advice. A standing start with the optimum RPM launch will almost always beat a roll out by several tenths, sometimes a half second or so. Also a 200 lb person as a passenger will add about 6% to the car's weight, worth another 0.3 seconds or so. Take these into account and the real 0-60 time for this car is in the high 3's which is about right.
Was launch control used? Didn't sound like it... that, combined with no passenger should net a sub 4.
