Maarten, I once owned a 2-litre Coupe. It was a cool car, but paled by comparison to your exquisite macchina. I imagine the interior & engine bay are just as pristine? Interesting, my ASA 1000 GT seems to have a profile similar, albeit smaller, to the Coupe. Thanks for the extra pics. Your Dino must be a consistent winner at shows; I'm sure it's a real crowd pleaser. Coop
You always know a good post when it runs to more than 2 pages. I have a 246GT, a 308 GTB (glass) and 2 x Gt4's amoung other stuff. What I can say is that the Gt4's are the best driving because of the weight distribution. They also seem to get more attention thean the other two. Times move on - once the 246 was not a proper Ferrari - now there is no need to feel uncomfortable about saying you own a Gt4 - they are cool and getting collectable. An intelligent choice indeed.
Hi Coop, I like the 2-litre cars... More revs compared to the (cast-iron) 2.4's... I love the ASA's btw , a well-known Dutch collector has both , a coupe and spider. ASA Coupe is also designed by Bertone. In that way it is "family". Interior and engine-bay of my Dino are highly original but in very good condition. Nothing "too fancy" overthere... Will take some pictures this weekend when we take the car out again. The car is well taken care for and i like to enjoy it. It is a driver , not some kind of "trailerqueen"... At events many people ask the well-known questions... Most time the one "what is it?" But i don't enter the car for prizes , i don't care much of winning a trophy... Maarten
