A friend may have finally found Mecca to reproduce them.

    Please let me know.

GT or GTS I suppose, if there is demand.

Personally, I need a good fitting factory set for a GT. Will even pay again!

Now I am ranting. Forgiveness, please.
Bought one set long time ago and was miserably fooled with expensive (cheaply made wannabees).
Of course I could not return them, as car was 2 years away from being finished,
and that were a complete abomination when tried on the car.

3/4" gaps, and silly me, I thought my doors were the warped items...

The world is full of trashy made facsimiles.
Shame on the sellers, please don't get me started :)

    Regards, Alberto

    Hi Alberto,

Bought and fitted a drop glass from Dino parts recently. Fitted OK, not 100% perfect but very good in my opinion especially after trying some other suppliers with
absolutley no chance of it fitting and working correctly.

Hello Charles, I would not mind trying out these, the operation looks good. How are the gaps in the center?
Also, you mention not 100% perfect, what small % was off?
    Thank you.
    Regards, Alberto

Howard, you are absolutely right, but Timo is strictly Daytona glass, at the moment.
We have spoken about Dino glass...

Not just "strictly Daytona glass" as I do reproduce windshields, door -, quarter-, rear- and vent windows, etc., for variety of vintage cars, but nothing for Dino and won't bother if "acceptable"(?) alternatives are available.

OTOH, many of the glass I do reproduce are also available from other producers, but in most cases, the fit and overall quality often seems somewhat "different" and not necessarily "acceptable" for those who take their cars & restorations seriously. ;)

Timo, I stand corrected, as I thought it was only Daytona.
For one, I would like my glass to be 100% spot on,
and I agree, other producers are severely lacking in quality.

Received the switch by the way, thank you!

Well, that can be a tall order, as many of the older/vintage car OEM glass, including those found in Ferraris, etc, weren't always "100 % spot on" to begin with. ;)
That, of course, wasn't necessarily due to glass being made wrong, but rather the shape of the body/coach work/opening, especially on hand fabricated (Italian ?) production cars, didn't always end up consistent with the original design idea (for which Daytona, due to its very unique shape, IMO is probably one of the most exemplary "poster child").

    No, thank you !
