Kinky is a family friend (so is Carol). He gave me mine a long time ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am an import but I wish this country had the pride Texas has. I maybe an import but my home state was part of Tejas at one time and the home to the oldest capital city in the union.
I don't pretend to be a huge sports fan, because I'm not. I used to be, but I have found other interest. I once had an amazing collection that was passed down from my father, before my house was burglarized. I had a Mickey Mantle card and Babe Ruth card, but they were stolen. I still have a Joe Di Maggio card and an autographed Sandy Koufax card. I still have several other autographed cards and a few autographed bats. The autographed bats are all new, never used bats. They are a Mark Grace, Tony Gwynn and a Jose Canseco. The Jose Canseco bat was bought in his days with the Rangers and it cost $200. Now it's probably worth close to nothing. --The Answer-- The split & tar covered bat above my desk is just one out of a whole box full of slit bats I have. I like it because of the tar and how bad the split is. My dad bought them after the games and all the bats were split in actual games, not practice. The one above my desk looks like it says Willie W Horton. None of those are autographed.
Saw this on the way to work this morning. Only in Texas. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
