yeah, the size of the wheel/tire don't look right to me either. I don't know enough about this car to make a good judgement. I've also been told there are a couple of fake Ferrari 355's on my site. I can't figure out which ones. http://exoticspotter.com/listingVehicle.php?make=5&model=34&location=all
It is real for sure. The only fake Dinos in existence are the Karma GT, beetle based and they don't come close to a real Dino.
Not quite the 'only' ones. There was also the Deon, built by John Hurst of JH Classics in the early '90's, which was a LOT closer to the real thing. They were usually powered by a transverse mid-engined Lancia 4-pot motor. Can't find a pic at the moment, though, sadly ....
Looks real to me. US Spec turn signals and side indicators are correct. Flairs and Campy wheels. Back looks like it's sitting a little high, but, that could be for any number of reasons.
Looks like JH Classics may have been resurrected as 'Classic Replicas' .... See: http://www.classicreplicasuk.co.uk
Nah, I cant see any fakes there unless its a damn good 348 conversion. Seemed to be a few suspect ones but i just couldnt tell....
Although I'm not 100% certain, it looks pretty real to me. As someone else mentioned, the proportions and details are too good to be fake. As for the 355s on your site, I couldn't find any replicas.
Looks real to me, the "fly" quarter windows are usually a good tell-tale and those look correct, as well as the side markers as previously mentioned. While this is less scientific, I can't see why anyone would go through the trouble of making a kit car replica and then painting it prugnia, rosso corsa would be the more obvious choice.
There's a Deon 246GTS replica currently for sale on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29750&item=4521663924&rd=1 As I said previously, a LOT closer to the real thing than a Karma ....
