Agreed, you have to love these old-school shops especially when they work on vintage cars! On top of that the owner is a very nice guy. I've been to so many shops where the owners where the kind that ask you to stay out of the shop in the waiting room that finding someone that let you inside and talks about his work is a real delight!
How about a very well preserved '81 one owner never catlyzed euro GTSI? 61km, with a re-spray (decent quality) color change from silver to red and recent major? And what exactly might I be smelling after 40 mile drives that vaguely resembles anything from White Castle burgers to microwaved slim Jims? (The latter is a guess, I've never actually microwaved a slim jim) and will it burn off eventually? Or is something likely melting that shouldn't be?
