Well, I am at a point where I have replaced all forward a/c hoses and before re-installing the engine / tranny, sure would be prudent to replace the rear a/c lines. Is it possible to pull the lines through after splicing to the originals? With the crimp tool I have, it will be possible to crinp the fitting in the trunk, so that's not a problem.

Any advice or input is appreciated....................

    Godspeed!

Over the years, I have found that my local Caterpiller dealer/ service center can replace virtually any application that you may have. It sometimes helps to bring him the old fittings, and he can replace them while you wait.. They do this all day long, and they're really good at it, and the pricing will astound you (as in reasonable).I hope that this is of some value. Jacques.

    Jacques,

    Thanks, good info.

But to be a bit more clear on my question........................ I have no problem with making the hose, I have an elaborate crimper, what I was asking refers to actually pulling the new hoses through the rocker area. My thought would be to cut the old crimp end off either the trunk or engine area ends, splice on the end of the new hose, then pull it through.

Has anyone encountered this yet? Thanks

    Godspeed!
    Dave
