I am not happy with the panel fit on the rear bumper/Rear Active Aero. I think it is a source of a loud and intrusive flapping/wind noise at 40-45mph with the roof down. The dealer has had one go at fixing the noise, by adjusting the rear spoiler

I have attached some photos from different angles to look at the gaps and overhang . Does this look right compared to your car ? It is not clear how this can be adjusted.

Hard to tell from the pic, maybe the outer panel in the middle bows out more than it should? My car is see very minor scratch mark between the active flap and the inner panel in the middle, possibly rubs when the spoiler moves.

Has anyone ever seen their active spoiler come up? Is there a formula to get it moving in street legal speeds? I have yet to see it move. Mclarens have very predictable ways to get the air brake working, it's super fun, like a fighter jet.

It would be nice to put it in a service mode to deploy the spoiler ? Surely there is a specification on the width of the gap between the bumper and active aero spoiler ? Behind that part of the bumper there is a metal plate that looks to be bonded, I wonder if this creates some variations in the curvature.

BTW, I figured out how to activate the rear spoiler this afternoon. Go about 80 to 100 mph and then hit the brakes hard, it does come up.
