Does anybody know if there is a bracket this is needed to attached the rear back up light for a '73 Euro Dino? I have purchased the back up light and if I attach it on the body where the holes were, the light would be at an angle facing downward. Any help would be apprecited. Someone did tell me they thought there was a rubber washer that went with it but not sure.

There is a metal housing to mount the backup light. The housing mounts to the bodywork. I think I saw a stainless reproduction on Ebay UK.

    Gorgeous Dino photo!
Sorry to hijack, but is your exhaust an Ansa Sport? I think I see silver tape the Sport uses to finish off the transition from the chrome tips to the black feeder pipes.
If so, do you like the sound?

TomotoMan: 'glad to be of help. I'm glad that the bracket is available, as it would be a bit of a challenge to make one. And, I am enjoying the opportunity to hijack your thread!

Scott: Thanks for the compliment. The exhaust is stock; it sounds stock, too. It's possible that there is a slight change in brilliance of the chrome where the original red tape was wrapped. The car's at a friend's place, so I can't check it now. I'll look later & let you know if you are imagining things...or have scary-good eyes! :)

Fred: 'appreciate the kind words, too. It's far from concours, but is a very presentable driver that is responding nicely to some extended TLC. Oh, I run the Cali plates (even the front one!) on the street. The LI plate is for 'The Look.'

    All: Cheers

Coop, The bracket on one of my Dinos was rotted underneath, which my bodyman discovered six years ago while working on the car. He took what had been a bumper bracket from a Japanese car and fabricated a new bracket. It was like something out of "Transformers"! Fred

Does anyone have a source for the metal cover that comes off the bottom of the trunk and covers the wires that go to the back up light? Mine had terminal cancer and looks pitiful.

Fred: Any chance of a picture? 'fun to see what the hand-crafted substitute looks like.

Uro: I don't recognize that cover. It may be missing on my car, or I may have just missed it. Does it appear in one of the parts catalogs? Can you post a shot of the remnants of your pitiful part?

Coop, I'll try to get a photo when I have the chance. It's been quite hectic lately, but I will get around to it. Fred
