My 71 Euro GT had a fire suppression tank located at the rear of the trunk on the driver side. That was removed during the car's maintenance before it was delivered to me.

I saw this `rear boot pocket' item on Superformance's site and wonder if it goes in that recessed area of the trunk. Anyone have an idea or better, a picture? And how it's installed since I see no obvious method for attachment (maybe it just rests in that depression).

Should be one on each side. They just drop in. I think they're used for storage. I'm sure there's someone who knows exactly what they were used for.
