Well, since removing all the rear pieces is a real PIA with window removal, heat shield removal and rivet drilling I decided to go easy and cheap for now. I removed one of the B pillar pieces and cleaned it up with a small soft toothbrush and some Woolite and water. Once it was rinsed off and dried it looked brand spanking new! Now the only problem with this approach is that I couldn't remove the other pieces to rinse them. In that case we used a damp, not wet, towel and gently rubbed/blotted as much of the Woolite out as possible. Then we used a hand-held wet/dry vac (Riyobi) and sucked up as much water as we could. Dried over night with the top off and again it looked brand new! (OK, mostly brand new. A couple of spots had to be redone twice) I am still going to have to replace the upper wrap-around piece because there is a small hole in it. However, unless you are sitting in the car and turn around, you never see it! (I may try to do a small patch job with a snippet of extra material from under the B pillar as a stop gap.)

Now for the small nicks in the material that raise the already raised thread we used a very small amount of Elmer's Glue and just laid them back down again. Works well.

The darker one on the bottom is before, the lighter one on top is after. Hmmmm, I can try for better pix maybe.
