I had a small problem with my L-series in that a previous owner or shop had replaced the rear fiberglass service shells with a set from a later Dino. They made them fit (ugly mess) but the service shells '68-'71 are very different on each model and are not interchangeable, here are the part#'s:
    206GT: 20-16-01, 20-16-02
    246GT-L: no part #'s known!
    246 M/E-series: 0200522, 0200523

After much searching, Alberto came the rescue and replicated his shells for me in about a week and now I have 2 sets which fit properly and with the orange thread embedded in them.
The photo below shows the 246M/E (top), 206GT (middle), 246GT-L from Alberto (bottom).

These rare early cars are difficult to restore properly so a huge thanks to Alberto who went to the trouble of removing the parts from his car and reproducing them. Contact Alberto if you need them now he's made the mold.

Thank you all for the kind words. I am pleased to be able to help in the quest for obtaining obscure items, just as the other
enthusiasts that put in a lot of their time and effort in these projects that are mostly a headache, and that certainly aren't for the immense economical rewards.

Dino, as you well know, is painted yet still in pieces, so making the parts was not a terrible chore of undoing a car...just a few screws.

Never would I have thought that someone might be missing these panels, yet by now I should know better, as ALL cars 'in boxes', are always missing essential components.

The smaller production run of 206's and the L's, do not make it cost effective for the 'Superformances' et al. to be reproducing and stocking obscure parts for them, much less being able to obtain suitable samples.
Of the four batchboards that we made more than a year ago, one I kept, only one was sold and the other was traded, yet one still remains and most likely will continue on.

After the service shell experience, we will be making molds of other small items that otherwise will be a major hassle removing once the car is built.

In the end, I really appreciate your kind support for the parts my guys produce, but the real bottom line, is your helping them with their families, making jobs sustainable, and living a dignified life in a country where they otherwise would be earning meager salaries.

    Regards, Alberto
