I need a rear glass for my 348.....Don't ask. I would prefer plexi for weight savings (I understand some challenge or comp cars came with them anyway). Anybody know where to get one or get one made in SCal?

I think stock would be fine, but I would certainly accept thinner if installation wouldn't be complicated by that.

3/16 Lexan. Tap plastic can probably make it, but there are lots of small plastic /plexiglass shops that would be better.

Um...I paid $220 for three lexan boat windows a block away from this place. If anything is more expensive than boat parts, its Ferrari parts!

    Bruce,

If you want glass I may be willing to go lexan if you find a nice supplier. Perhaps we can do a swap if you want glass. I have tried a few but they never produce any product. I'm looking for 3/16" scratch coated lexan.

Yeah it did. I'll let Plugz fill you in on the details. But, just so you know, it wasn't because of Plugz.

I'll post pics when I get it done. Also, compare weight. Not in a big rush, as the star is right behind my head so I don't see it. Wondering how my insurance co will handle it if I opt for plastic. Thanks for all the info!
