Does anyone have a photo of the spacer that goes between the bearings on the rear hub. I can't remember ever seeing one when I took mine apart, yet the part book shows it?

When I rebuilt my 1970 Type L rear hubs, I remember that spacer...This is essentially the same set-up used in a BMW 2002, as well. The spacer is a short tube, which in essence...pre-loads the two bearings. The O.D. is the same as the bearings inner races I.D. The spacer tubes I.D. is the stub axle's O.D., plus a couple of thousands...

    I don't recall their lengths..nor do I have a photo. The Owner's Site has a drawing.

    Regards,
    David
