Just a few screw sizes (metric?) and see what fits... Don't force them in!

Should be an M6 x 1.0 thread pitch. Available at True Value Hardware in their bolt bins sold by the piece. Cheapest Ferrari part you will buy this year :)

Self Tapping Flanged Button Screws m4x10 - get Stainless steel a2 or a4

Should be able to find locally

This is what is on the 430 scuderia - not sure if all had the same - I know that with other screws on these cars it can change from year to year sometimes

I just went back and saw you have a 430 spider

Those screws according to Ricambi are m5x16 machine screws - I dont have pictures of that screw

Sorry if I caused any confusion

I Bought a kit that was for imports that had
    "Includes Machine screws thread size: (4) M5x10, (4) M5x20, (4) M6x12, (4) M6x20
    Self-tapping screws thread size: (4) M5x16, (4) M6x20 + "

None of these worked... Didn't try the self tapping tho. There is threads already in there.
The self taping wont wear out what was previously in there?

If a self taping screw was indeed used and based on research tgat what was used ...A new screw should just go in without any force ...Try the m5 x16 and see if it goes in smoothly
