Hi - I've never seen this style before: Carello is in outline letters, there is molding marker on the left side and the lower right says DOT SAE A 68 rather than SAE A 68. Has anyone ever seen this on a correct 246?

    Thanks,
    Frank

I have a couple of those NOS as well. Has a green tag that says USA across the front. All the numbers are the same as in your picture.

    Hi, Racerboy9,

    Good input.

Has anyone seen this style originally installed? I'm wondering if spares are a style slightly different from those installed at the factory. There is one picture in Mathias' book that might be this style but it's not represented as a factory example. Also, it's pretty hard to tell.

    Cheers,
    Frank

    Anyone?
If you haven't seen this style as known original, how about if you have only seen single line lettering for Carello.

    Thanks!
