I just started the cam belts on a 308 GT4 and it looks like there are some extra braces welded in at the upper rear shock mount and I wanted to see what an unmolested one looked like. So if anyone has a photo and is willing to post one of the brace on the rear tower I would greatly appreciate it.

The bracing looks a little home made and the rear cam cover almost would not come out. I just got the car and have little history, so I started to wonder if it was wrecked and repaired.

Thanks EuroGT4 for the photos. They showed what I needed to see. It looks like some may have hit a curb or something because the horizontal piece that the shock is bolted to is bent upward slightly and there is an extra brace welded in that you car does not have. The suspension mounting points look ok and the repair is pretty good, thats why I wasnt sure if it was factory.
    Thanks Again

Never apologize for your cars appearance. How many people even have a car like yours.

Taking pictures of the dark recesses is always a bit disheartening. Everything in the flash pictures always looks worse than in person, and in person you look at the cool parts (engine, shiny bits), but the uncaring camera can find all of worst and bring it to the forefront.
