    Hey all,

I'm upgrading the suspension on my 911 ... one of the monoball adapters broke in the control arm ... old design was aluminum that had been tack welded in. All the new one's I've been looking at have steel housings but none of them have provisions to grease them in the car so of course I have to make my own which will also incroporate seals :). They get $200-$250 for a pair of these things ... I think the bearings cost me $30 and I'll have a better setup in the end after a few hrs on the lathe. I'll also know what brand of bearing was installed :).

I'll post pics if anyone's interested. I did a search on some of the P forums and it seems no one really goes to the trouble of doing this ... probably 'cause it's a very tight area to get a grease fitting. I was really expecting all of these aftermarket goodies for the P cars to be completely thought out and just about every possible combination/upgrade be available .. heck they've been tinkering with these things for decades now.

    Cheers,

    Sean

The bolt that holds the trailing arm on is a PITA ... did something special with the bushing to ease the pain :). Anyone else f'd with this?

    Cheers
