Rear tail lights switch

My taillghts have the brake light (red) on the exterior and I need to reverse with the directional (yellow). I noticed in the rear light schematic that there is no separate rubber gasket (possibly it comes with the tail light purchase). On my 328 there is a separate gasket but not interchangeable with the 400 lens. I could fabricate a gasket. Has anybody run into this issue?
